VictorTricar was born in Paris in 1981. He grew up in the outskirts of Paris in a working-class neighbourhood. His childhood was the intimate stage for an imaginary world that would follow and guide him throughout his life.
VictorTricar has always held to an ideal of justice and a search for truth. He searches the world for this ideal that burns inside him. He meets others and travels, but he will never find outside the perfection of this absolute that lives inside him ….
VictorTricar has always been painting and drawing but the true revelation didn’t happen until later in his life.
After high school, the young artist blossomed and started studying art, helped by the support of his grand-father. After presenting his portfolio, he was accepted in 2000 and trained at highly regarded graphic art schools, including the prestigious “Académie Julian-Penninghen”, which counts amongst its students Matisse, Léger, Nolde, Mucha and others that are a part of our artistic heritage.
In 2004, after graduating, he worked as a free-lance graphic artist.
In 2006, on returning from a one-year journey in Norway, at the age of 25 years he painted his first canvas.
It is then that a creative world, both subtle and powerful ,appears through the hands of the young artist.
Rough and raging, fragile and still, the secretive life that flows through the protected spheres of the spirit, whilst organising everything on the canvas, was to change Victor’s life.
VictorTricar describes himself as an unsatisfied artist whose search for truth burns more than ever in him. His first works are ardent and violent, like a whisper that urgently dictates to him the destiny that is to be his.
In 2007, he exhibits for the first time with three other artists in the show “Paths to the free will”. This exhibition represents the founding statement of his work.
VictorTricar now lives in Los Angeles with his wife, and devotes himself totally to his art. He has already exhibited in paintings at the EdgeMar Center for Arts, only 5 months after he arrived in California.(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KR_vNNatQhE)

VictorTricar est né à paris en 1981. Il a grandi en banlieue parisienne dans des quartiers populaires.Son enfance est le théâtre intime de tout un monde imaginaire qui va l’accompagner et le guider toute sa vie durant.
VictorTricar a toujours porté en lui un idéal de justice et une quête de vérité . Il va chercher dans le monde cet idéal qui brûle en lui : il va rencontrer les Hommes et il va voyager, mais jamais il ne trouvera à l’extérieur la perfection de cet absolu qui vit à l’intérieur de lui…
VictorTricar a toujours peint et dessiné mais la véritable révélation n’a eu lieu que bien plus tard.
Après le Lycée, le jeune artiste, tel un papillon qui commence à sortir de son chrysalide, commence des études artisitiques, soutenu financièrement par son grand-père. Il est admis et formé dans des écoles d’arts graphiques réputées, dont la prestigieuse académie Julian( ESAG Penninghen), qui compta parmi ses élèves Henri Matisse, Léger, Nolde, Mucha et d’autres encore qui font partie de notre histoire.
Diplômé, il se lance en en tant que graphiste free-lance sur le marché du travail.
En 2006, c’est en rentrant d’un voyage d’un an en Norvège qu’il va peindre sa première toile, il a alors 25 ans.
Le visage d’un monde créateur subtil et puissant va alors apparaître grâce à la main du jeune artiste …
Brute et furieuse, fragile et sage, la vie mystérieuse qui affluait des sphères gardées de l’esprit, tout en s’organisant spontanément sur la toile, allait changer la vie de Victor.
VictorTricar se définit comme un artiste insatisfait dont la recherche de vérité brûle plus que jamais en lui. Ses premières œuvres sont fougueuses et violentes, comme ce souffle qui lui dicte impérieusement la destinée qui sera la sienne.
Il expose à Noisy-le-grand en 2007 pour la première fois, aux côtés de trois autres artistes invités « Paths to the free will ». Cette exposition représente la pierre de fondation de sa peinture.
VictorTricar vit actuellement à Los Angeles avec sa femme, et se consacre totalement à son art .
Il a exposé ses oeuvres à "EdgeMar center for arts" (Santa Monica) 5 mois après son arrivée à Los Angeles
